Hi everyone! I'm planning to visit Turkey for more than a month so I was researching SIM cards. All the blogs and articles online either talk about overpriced tourist SIM cards or push eSIMs with their referral codes, which are also overpriced compared to local SIMs
I usually buy local SIM cards when I travel, so I found these much cheaper prepaid options with Turkcell and Vodafone https://www.turkcell.com.tr/paket-ve-tarifeler/4-5-g-hizinda?paymentType=hazir-kart https://www.vodafone.com.tr/numara-tasima-yeni-hat/tarifeler/NEW/prepaid/UYUMLU?icmp=C2D_mobacq_prepaid_tariffpage_butcedostu_redesigned
My only question is, are these SIM cards limited to Turkish citizens or residents? Or as a foreigner would I be able to walk into a Turkcell/Vodafone store, refuse the tourist SIM cards and ask these local SIM cards?
Thanks for your help!
[**Editorial: School meals should be free — and nutritious**](https://www.timesunion.com/opinion/article/editorial-school-meals-free-nutritious-20033930.php)
Governor Kathy Hochul’s veto of a bill to prioritize nutritious school meals over the cheapest options ensures children continue eating highly processed foods that harm their health. The decision keeps school districts reliant on low-cost, unhealthy meals, contributing to obesity, poor nutrition, and long-term health issues.
Hi all, I'm going to Southampton tomorrow, and I have a membership with my QR code all fine, but the friend I'm going with is intending on using a ticket that belongs to the membership of someone else that we know.
Is the in-app QR code ticket able to be screenshotted, or do we need some other kind of workaround to share the ticket?
Thanks in advance!
I recently passed the November 2024 PNLE and just had my oathtaking. I'm about to get my license this month. Throughout nursing school, my aunt accommodated me at her house, for which I'm very grateful. However, she seems disappointed that I’m not planning to work in a hospital immediately.
My current plan is to focus on preparing for the NCLEX, which my agency advised me to do within six months or less. While studying, I plan to work as a Virtual Assistant (VA) to support myself. Once I pass the IELTS and NCLEX, I’ll start working in a hospital to gain experience.
My aunt thinks I’m wasting my time and insists I should review for the NCLEX and work in a hospital simultaneously. She doesn’t understand what hospital work is really like since she’s not in healthcare. I feel focusing on the NCLEX will help me pass faster and perform better.
What do you guys think? Should I stick to my plan or follow her advice?
Hey. So I'm a virgin with very little experience. I've been looking for someone to take my cherry.
And I've been talking to a guy who seems nice. But, and here is the issue I need deciphering. He's very much a top. He's very well hung (8.5 inches min) and that's obviously a problem.
So, he says he'll top me if I top him. Which, as 100% bottom I have no interest in.
He keeps bringing it up and up and I keep saying how much it turns me off. Today he's said (trying to justify why I should top him): He says I should top him first because if I have cum I'll be fully relaxed and then able to take a really large cock.
He seems obsessed with the "double" (which is us both topping each other).
None of this makes sense to me (as who wants to have sex after they've cum?). I've asked him to change the subject and stop talking about it, but he must have brought up the subject 20 times this week alone.
So, does any of this make sense to anyone on here?
He does seem nice, but surely, if I say "not interested in that", that should be the end of it, right?
Help!
Around 6 months ago I was going through a tough time with my living situation. I was wide awake at 3am, after putting away a comfort show, just lying in bed, facing away from the TV which I'd just turned off.
At 3.33am I thought to myself "it'll all be okay" and a bright flash of white light was directed at me from where my TV was, I turned and faced a 2x2x2inch deep light (estimate as I was being blinded by the strongest lamp possible), and it was projected right at my face. It was close to the TV, resting on top of the table. It was behind tat, as the tat was shadowing the light partially. Light lasted around three seconds, I was in shock. There wasn't a fire, not electrical or near sockets. I've since wondered if it was supernatural, as it was white white.
Has anyone had a comparable experience?
So I'n pretty sure I know the answer to my question, but figure I'd tap into the collective wisdom of reddit
I'm trying to book some nights at the Hyatt Centric in Times Square later this month and it's a non-business trip and I want to use points in some method.
On initial searching via the app I found that the hotel was 21000/points a night (Cat 6) for their "Standard" rooms which listed 1 King or 2 Queen options.
I was all set the next day to transfer my Chase Sapphire points and I discovered the 2 Queen option is no longer there.
If I call the hotel or reservations call center is there any chance they'll be able to make it happen?
As an alternative, I can book thru the Chase Travel site, using roughly the same amount of points that I would transfer,, however I'm aware that will result in an OTA booking and know how those are treated....
Id much rather book thru Hyatt direct but know I may have lost that window of opportunity? Or is there a chance the 2 Queen option will open back up for points bookings?
TIA
Isn't the whole concept of the Homer Pantry a goddamned embarrassment? Like, *the company cares enough about you to provide a food bank funded by...**employees**...*.
At the moment I write this, a single share of Home Depot stock is worth more than $405. Arthur Blank is worth NINE BILLION dollars. His partner, Bernie Marcus was worth ELEVEN BILLION dollars when he died. The CEO makes fifteen million dollars per year and owns 46 million worth of stock.
Were I on the board of this company, I would be ashamed that the company makes 4 BILLIONS dollars in profit, yet pays its 450,000 employees so poorly that they need food banks. It is criminal.
